Good morning ladies.. Foundation facts for you...

Pressed foundations give a smooth, matte finish to the skin that helps control shine. It can be applied with either a damp or dry sponge. At first, it takes practice to use the right amount of powder.
This type of foundation works for all skin types and is easy to carry around since it’s not as messy as loose powder. This makes it quick and handy for touch ups. It is available in more shades than loose powder.
When choosing a shade, get one as close to your foundation color as you can and use lightly since it tends to accumulate on your skin during touch ups.

Blush Glory

Good morning ladies...Here are some blush tips for you...

-First choose the colour using nature as your guide. Fair skin looks great in rose, olive in peach & dark skin in apricot or even red.
-Now that you have the colour, choose the right formula for your skin type. Powder is typically best for oily & combo skin. Cream is great for dry skin. Liquid and gel are great for oily skin.
-Apply foundation, eye colour & lipstick. While blush is usually your 2nd-to-last makeup step (before powder), you should experiment with what works best for you.
-Use a professional full brush, but don’t use the same brush you use for your powder.
-Put the blush on your brush, tapping off any excess or put a dab of gel on your fingers.
-Look into the mirror and smile. This helps you figure out where the ‘apple’ of your cheek is.
-Since you want a healthy flush, it’s best to apply blush only to apples of your cheeks.
-If you’ve gone a bit too heavy on the powder blush, a bit of translucent powder over it will calm it down. For cream blush, blot the colour off with a tissue. Since gel & liquid blush ‘stain’ the cheeks, the only way to lighten them is it wash your face, moisturize and reapply your makeup, this time more sparingly.
-Finish your look with a sweep of translucent powder.

Braids and Curls.

Braids styles are stunning and timeless, beautiful and undeniably fit for the African princess. There are many braided hairstyles for you to choose from. The best thing about braids is the minimal maintenance. All you have to do is spray oil sheen on the braids every few days and warp your head with a scarf at night. Braids are great because they allow your natural hair to rest and protect your hair from exposure to the elements.
This style is a sensational one of open-ended braids that can be worn down or with an up do. When choosing an up do, try to select a style that best suits your facial shape.

Good morning ladies...Its all about cornrows today..
Combine your stylish cornrows with the right kind of day or night outfit. You are bound to hiss and cause a flutter wherever you go.
You can choose this style by adding synthetic hair extension to create longer cornrow styles. To enjoy this look of cornrows, you can opt to simply cornrow only the front to the middle of the head (famously known as Kilimanjaro style), while leaving the remaining hair un-plaited. This style goes for any shape of the face.
Once complete, you can wear your style in a variety of styles for a beautiful night with an up do or day look.
